Allergy and Asthma Care of St. Louis has been providing empathic care for children and adults with allergy, asthma, and immunologic diseases for over 35 years. Our team is dedicated to helping patients manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life. We offer a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services, including allergy testing, immunotherapy, asthma and immunologic disease management. Our goal is to provide personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.

MICHELE KEMP, MD
Dr. Michele Kemp was born and raised in St. Louis. After graduating from Villa Duchesne, she attended Washington University in St. Louis, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She was awarded a scholarship (Mr. and Mrs. Spencer T. Olin Fellowship for Women) for the study of medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. She then completed an Internship/Residency in Pediatrics, followed by fellowship training in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology at Children's Hospital, Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. In 1987, Dr. Kemp founded Allergy and Asthma Care of St. Louis in the current Chesterfield location. She is board certified by American Board of Pediatrics and by the American Board Allergy and Immunology. In addition to her clinical practice, she is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine.
STEPHANIE PARK, MD
Dr. Stephanie Park was born and raised in St. Louis and Waterloo, IL. After graduating from John Burroughs School, she attended from Yale University, where she graduated cum laude with a degree in the History of Science and Medicine. Her studies then took her south to Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN. After eight years "abroad," the lure of home finally was too strong to ignore. Dr. Park completed her residency and fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Children's Hospital and Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She joined the illustrious team at Allergy and Asthma Care of St. Louis in 2008. She is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Park is also the Chief of the Allergy Divison at Mercy Hospital. When not trying to put Kleenex out of business, Dr. Park enjoys spending time with her family, running, reading and eating a good meal.
DOUGLAS BERSON, MD
Dr. Douglas Berson joined Allergy and Asthma Care of St. Louis in February of 2015 after over 20 years of solo practice, treating adult and pediatric patients with allergic and immunologic conditions. He is board certified in Allergy and Immunology and in Internal Medicine and received his subspecialty training at Washington University School of Medicine where he maintains an active presence on the Clinical Faculty. Dr. Berson enjoys diagnosing and treating a wide variety of allergic disorders ranging from urticaria, anaphylaxis and food allergies to chronic sinusitis, asthma and cough. He has extensive experience in the management of immune deficiencies and complex drug allergies.
Dr. Berson is currently on a leave of absence but hopes to be back to seeing patients at our Ladue and Chesterfield locations.

At Allergy and Asthma Care of St. Louis, we offer a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating allergies and asthma. Our team of experts are here to help you manage your allergic and immunologic issues and develop an effective treatment plan to get you feeling better as soon as possible. During your initial visit, we will perform any applicable diagnostic testing, which may include skin testing if you have not taken any antihistamines for at least 5 days. If diagnostic testing is not possible, do not fret--we can still help!
Initial visits can be lengthy and we ask that you allow up to 2 hours for evaluation, testing and education. Our mission is to help you understand your medical situation and provide you with the tools to manage your allergies, asthma and immunologic disease effectively.
What we do...
We understand how important it is to find the right treatment for your allergies. That is why we offer a wide range of services, from skin testing for environmental allergens, foods, drugs, patch testing, asthma care, immunodeficiency evaluations and more. Our treatments include comprehensive education and counseling in addition to specific therapies like allergen immunotherapy, biologic therapy, penicillin challenges, patch testing, and immunoglobulin replacement therapy to ensure that our patients receive the highest standard of care.
